Rachel Young
Joining the Fit Happens team in 2005,  Rachel is an ACE-certified group fitness instructor and prefers high energy routines such as Total Knockout Workout (TKO) and Impact, Intensity & Interval (I³), yet also takes time for Strength & Serenity. Rachel assumed the responsibilities of Group Fitness Manager for Fit Happens in March 2007.

Laurie Rose  Began instruction with Fit Happens in 2003 with 3 years experience/certification in step aerobics. While she can commonly be found doing energetic high impact Step Up classes, you may also find her challenging your abdominal muscles in “Ab”tastic. Laurie also organizes group hikes. Keep your eyes open for details.

Joy Beekman  Supporting Fit Happens from its start, Joy provides a challenging workout for all fitness levels. Step Down, Impact & Intensity (I²), Low Burn, and Gunz&Bunz toning class are only a sampling of what she can provide.  A sure fire cardio/ toning workout!

Jen Flynn  Clearly one of our more versatile instructors, Jen has been with Fit Happens since its group fitness induction.  Given her experience/certification in pilates-based use of equipment, Jen provides a powerful “Ball”istic class, as well as toning classes, Low Burn, Step Down and Step Up. Definitely worth attending!

Colleen Leo
An ESA-certified instructor, Colleen has provided morning routines for Fit Happens since early 2004.  Always conscious of participant needs, Colleen instructs Step Down, Step Up, Low Burn, and our  toning workout Gunz&Bunz. Start your morning off right with Colleen!

Kym Dopp
Trained/certified through AFAA, Kym will  be sure you work up a sweat in a variety of class descriptions to include Impact & Intensity (I²) and Total Knockout Workout (TKO), as well as her most notable lower body sculpt and tone routines.  Kym is an extremely versatile instructor and may be found developing routines for any number of our class descriptions.

Beth Mowrey 
Upon joining the Fit Happens team, Beth brought with her 5 years of experience/training/certification in choreographed step routines, Step Aerobics, and Group Fitness. While Beth can most commonly be found providing instruction for Step Down and Step Up,  she also challenges participants during the Impact, Intensity & Interval (I³) class.

Kelly Priess 
Highly energetic and motivating, Kelly exudes fitness through her group instruction, spinning, and various outdoor activities.  Generally found in the wee hours of the morning providing Step Up instruction, Kelly assesses participant needs daily and develops routines to challenge all fitness levels.  A sure way to start your day!

Megan Hulslander
Megan has years of experience and training/certification in Safe Exercise Leader/Aerobics instruction. Most commonly found providing Low Burn, Step Down, and toning workouts, all of Megan’s routines include a variety of exercises designed to motivate and challenge every  participant.

Amy Heckler 
Certified in the discipline of Hatha Yoga, Amy is devoted to promoting safe and effective Yoga routines. Her 15+ years of yoga practice in the disciplines of Astanga, Bekrims and Igengar, assures you an hour of correct postures and yoga sequences with a gentle corrective approach.

Mandy Rose
Mandy has 5+  years of experience, as well as  certification as a Spinning Instructor.  Always high energy and challenging with dynamic moves aimed at fat burning and muscle conditioning, Mandy is often instructing Step UpImpact & Intensity (I²), and “Ab”tastic.Be sure to sign-up for one of Mandy’s spin classes as well!

Jolynn Pierce 
Her 25+  years of experience is obvious to anyone up for the challenge!  AFAA-certified in High & Low Impact Aerobics, Jolynn provides Fit Happens with Impact & Intensity (I²), Step Up and Boot Camp routines.  Men & women alike will be pushed to their limit by participating in any of Jolynn’s classes!

Patricia Hallenbeck 
Trained with certifications in yoga and pilates, Patricia provides an hour of Strength & Serenity designed to stretch and tone the body while nourishing the spirit.  Her years of experience and commitment to the practice will benefit all participants.

Jillian Coon 
Complementing the Fit Happens’ class descriptions with Pilates, Jillian implements her own pilates practice into her sports fitness regime during the college school year.  Don’t be fooled by the slow, low repetition exercises…you will feel the burn!

Yvonne Hart 
With certifications from AFAA and ESA, and 24 years of experience spanning Japan and the United States, Yvonne is locally known due to her commitment to providing high energy, all encompassing routines for a sure-fire workout every time!  Her Step Up classes are often requested, but she’ll challenge you with any class description she’s given!
